2019 SYRAH ESTATE LOT C

This is a full bodied and richly colored red, even if it is a tiny bit lighter than the Lot E. The whole cluster fermentation of Lot C brings lots of forest floor, white pepper, lavender, and breakfast meats to complement the fruity notes of raspberry and cherry. This wine speaks of a cooler climate Syrah with wonderfully bright acidity and modest tannins that suggest an earlier drinking window. But don’t be fooled, this limited production Syrah is also mean for the long haul with 5-10 years of aging potential.
